Growing up I was always active in sports but when I got to college, I decided it was time to join a gym. From then on, I went through cycles of activity but the one thing that I never really paid attention to was my eating habits. I was diagnosed with a thyroid disorder that affected my metabolism and caused me to go into a bit of a rut. But I finally realized that I shouldn't use that as my excuse - "Well, I have bad metabolism anyway, so it doesn't matter what I eat" or "I'm not really losing weight, it must be because of my thyroid" Well, no maybe it's because I ate mac & cheese everyday.
So after a reality check, I turned it around and used it as my motivation. Because of it, I have to work that much harder to lose the weight and get into the shape I want to be in and I should be paying MORE attention to the things I'm eating. Fast forward to a few months ago when I was preparing for my wedding. I was exercising regularly and EATING CLEAN and boy, did I have results! Now, it is time for me to take that knowledge and experience and apply it to help YOU achieve your lifestyle goals.
