15 Shakeology Recipes That Are Perfect for Summer

Summer is winding down, but don’t let it end before trying at least one of these 15 delicious Shakeology smoothies! That said, even though these Shakeology recipes are perfect for summer…we think you’ll want to drink them all year long.

Lemon Bar This shake uses lemon juice and grated lemon zest to give it the sweet, tangy flavor of a lemon bar cookie. Enjoy it for dessert or as a morning pick-me-up!

¾ cup nonfat milk ¼ cup water 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology 1 tsp. finely chopped lemon peel (lemon zest) 1 cup ice

1. Place milk, water, lemon juice, extract, Shakeology, lemon, peel, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth. 2. Serve immediately.

S'Mores

Who says you can’t have dessert for breakfast? S’mores is an iconic summertime treat and this Shakeology recipe captures the season’s iconic flavor. There’s even a version with coffee, if you need your caffeine fix!

½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk ½ cup brewed coffee, chilled 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology 2 tsp. ground whole wheat graham cracker crumbs, divided use 1 cup ice

1. Place almond milk, coffee, extract, Shakeology, 1 tsp. graham cracker crumbs, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth. 2. Pour into a serving glass and garnish with remaining 1 tsp. graham cracker crumbs; serve immediately.

Strawberry Lemonade

Strawberry lemonade combines the zesty flavor of lemons with the sweetness of fresh strawberries. We use a secret ingredient to make this recipe extra tasty.

1 cup water 1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice 1 tsp. pure maple syrup 1 cup ice

Place water, Shakeology, lemon juice, maple syrup, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Horchata

Horchata is a creamy beverage from Spain and Latin America that’s made from rice or nuts and spiced with cinnamon. It’s yummy but often made with sugar and sweetened condensed milk, so we created a healthy version so you can enjoy the taste of horchata without sabotaging your diet.

1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or rice milk) 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology 2 Tbsp. sliced raw almonds ¼ tsp. ground cinnamon 1 cup ice

Place almond milk, extract, Shakeology, almonds, cinnamon, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Berryworks

The 4th of July only happens once a summer, but you can incorporate the bold and beautiful colors of the American flag into your next shake any time of the year.

1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or rice milk or nonfat milk) 1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology ¼ cup fresh blueberries ¼ cup fresh strawberries 1 cup ice

Place almond milk, Shakeology, blueberries, strawberries, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Agua Fresca

Almost nothing can cool you off better than fresh slices of cucumber. This shake adds just a touch of lime to give it some zing!

¾ cup water (or club soda) ½ medium cucumber, peeled, chopped 1 scoop Strawberry Shakeology 1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice 1 cup ice

Place water, cucumber, Shakeology, lime juice, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Strawberry Mojito

Mojitos could easily be crowned the cocktail of summer. Recreate a mocktail version using sparkling water, fresh lime juice, and lots of mint and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to the beach with just one sip!

1 cup sparkling water, divided use 1 tsp. finely grated lime peel 3 Tbsp. fresh lime juice 1 scoop Tropical Strawberry Shakeology 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh mint leaves 1 cup ice Fresh mint sprig (for garnish; optional) Strawberry slice (for garnish; optional)

1. Place ½ cup water, lime peel, lime juice, Shakeology, mint, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth. 2. Add remaining ½ cup water; mix well. Garnish with mint and strawberry slice if desired.

Blueberry Sunshine

Brighten up your meal plan with this sunny blueberry and banana smoothie. It’s both sweet and super easy to make.

1 cup water 1 scoop Chocolate Shakeology ½ medium banana, cut into chunks ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries 1 cup ice

Place water, Shakeology, banana, blueberries, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Cantaloupe Creme

Love cantaloupe? Its flavor peaks in summer, so don’t miss out on the sweetness of this juicy fruit!

1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology 1 cup cubed cantaloupe 1 cup water ½ cup ice (add more to taste)

Place cantaloupe, water, Shakeology, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Peaches and Creme

Peach cobbler, peach pie, peaches and ice cream…peaches are a versatile stone fruit that play nicely in a variety of recipes. Including this one.

⅔ cup water 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice 1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology ½ cup sliced frozen peaches 1 cup ice

Place water, lemon juice, Shakeology, peaches, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Minty Watermelon

Watermelon is a summertime staple, whether you’re eating it by the slice, grilling it on a barbecue, or having a seed spitting contest with friends. Try it in your Shakeology with ice and fresh mint leaves for a refreshing shake on a hot day.

1 cup cubed watermelon ½ cup water 1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology 6 fresh mint leaves, chopped 1 cup ice

Place watermelon, water, Shakeology, mint, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Cherry Limeade

Skip the drive-thru and make Cherry Limeade at home. We’ve put our own spin on it with a scoop of Greenberry Shakeology. A little sweet, a little tart, and a whole lot of yum.

1 cup water 1 tsp. fresh lime juice 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice 1 scoop Greenberry Shakeology ½ cup frozen unsweetened black cherries, pitted ½ cup ice

Place water, lime juice, lemon juice, Shakeology, cherries, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Key Lime Dream

Key limes are best known for their namesake appearance in Key Lime Pie. We took that recipe and transformed it into a healthy shake!

1 cup nonfat milk 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice 1 scoop Greenberry Shakeology 1 Tbsp. raw honey ½ cup ice

Place milk, lime juice, Shakeology, honey, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Piña Colada The taste of Piña Coladas evokes daydreams of tropical vacations and white, sandy beaches. Unfortunately, the classic cocktail is made with lots of sugar, coconut cream…and calories. Try this healthier twist instead!

1 scoop Vanilla Shakeology ½ cup water ½ cup 100% pineapple juice ½ tsp. pure coconut extract ½ cup ice (add more to taste)

1. Place water, pineapple juice, coconut extract, Shakeology, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

Banana Sunshine When the heat is draining your energy, sometimes all you need is a refreshing pick-me-up like this citrus-forward smoothie.

½ cup water ½ cup 100% orange juice 1 scoop Greenberry Shakeology 1 medium banana, cut into chunks ½ cup ice

Place water, orange juice, Shakeology, banana, and ice in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.
